How do you know that you have kidney stones?

You might have heard about kidney stones and the pain associated with it. It is difficult to identify the kidney stones in its early stage. It can affect anyone so it is important to know the symptoms of kidney stones.


Here are the 7 symptoms of Kidney Stones:

1.Pain In The Back, Belly Or Side: People with kidney stone often reports the sudden pain in their lower back, belly or side abdomen. It may be so severe that it can be accompanied by nausea or vomiting.


2.Pain Or Burning During Urination: Once the stone reaches the junction of ureter and bladder you can start feeling pain. The pain can be very sharp or burning.


3. Frequent Urination: Frequent urination is another sign that the stone has moved to the lower side of the urinary tract.


4.Blood In The Urine: Hematuria or blood in the urine is the most common symptoms of Urinary stones.


5. Cloudy and smelly urine: Healthy urine is clear and doesn’t contain any odor. If you have odor in your urine than this can be the sign of UTI or Stones.


6. Nausea or vomiting: Kidney and GI tract shares a nerve connection. Stones in the Kidney can trigger GI nerve and it can lead to vomiting and Nausea. Vomiting and Nausea are the common reaction of the body to severe pain.


7. Fever and Chills: Fever and chills are another symptom of infection in the urinary system or kidney stone.
